I was aimlessly perusing the bookstore a few days ago when this book jumped out at me. I sat down and read the entire thing right there. It was beautiful. Everything about it. The images, the story, the science, the writing. And it made me start thinking about education and how I probably would have felt very differently about science and history had they been presented to me like this.

A few of my favorite photos from an incredible rafting trip in the Grand Canyon this March. I am so unbelievably lucky to have had the opportunity to spend nearly a month with an amazing group of people in one of our planets most majestic and beautiful natural wonders.

Gogol Bordello - Pala Tute
I miss the days of funky, creative music videos. I know they still get made but I think the music video industry saw it's heyday in the 80s and 90s. Unless there's some underground world that I don't know about?
Here's Pala Tute by my favorite band, who happens to put on the best live show ever. Period. If you haven't seen Gogol Bordello, add it to your bucket list.
Two iphone pics from their show in Boulder last year
